BACKGROUND: This contract is renewed annually and has been to the City Attorney’s staff for review and approval. This contract is used to provide housing (Juvenile Detention Center) for juvenile offenders that otherwise could not be housed in a secure facility due to state statutes. The city provides funding for their negotiated portion according to the needs of the community, not to exceed $93,220.00.
