INITIATOR:  Timothy Wilson, Acting City Attorney

STAFF INFORMATION SOURCE:  Timothy Wilson, Acting City Attorney and Charlotte Brown, Community Services Director

BACKGROUND: The Acting City Attorney and Community Services Director desire to discuss with the Mayor and Council a potential litigation against the real property owners of the recently demolished burnt nursing home located at 1301 NW Andrews Avenue, and take appropriate action in open session.  The Acting City Attorney advises the City Council that the Council should determine that disclosure of confidential communications between the Council and the Attorney/Community Services Director regarding the above referenced action will seriously impair the ability of the City to protect the City’s interest, and from that determination, the Council should convene in executive session to diss this matter.
