BACKGROUND: LATS desires to prepare a grant application for an amount not to exceed $25,000,00000 to be used toward the construction of a new transfer center and hub facilities and the purchasing of hybrid-electric vehicles for fixed routes services. The concept and design for the facilities are attached along with the estimated price. The proposed grant will be used toward the construction of the new passenger facilities and the purchase of new vehicles. The grant application will be filed and reviewed electronically.
The grant will include the following:
Approximately $17,000,000.00 in federal monies and $3,400,000.00 match from the Trust (20%). - Facilities
Approximately $8,000,000.00 in federal monies and $1,600,000.00 match from the Trust (20%). - Vehicles
