BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for contract CL24-011 to conduct an in-depth review of the Lawton Fire Department. Bid invitations were sent out January 26, 2024, and the bid opening was held on February 28, 2024. Four (4) Responsive bids were received. After reviewing the bids for CL24-011 Lawton Fire Department Analysis, it is the Department’s recommendation that the contract be awarded to Emergency Services Consulting International, Inc. The total cost for the analysis is $41,608.00. This study will embrace the tenets of efficiency and safe community of the True North culture statement, in that the study is a venture of benchmarking with transparency and the results and implemented changes will prove we are relentless in efforts to provide a safe environment for our citizens to thrive.
