BACKGROUND: This year is the City of Lawton’s 10th Annual Lawton-Fort Sill Freedom Festival. The festival has grown into a two-day event, that attracts thousands of patrons annually, and host one of the largest firework shows in Oklahoma. In order to ensure a successful drone show experience, we’ve selected to work with Sky Elements, one of the largest professional drone show operators in the nation. They would coordinate a show in conjunction with entertainment and support provided by Limelight entertainment and collaborate with the Arts and Humanities Division to coordinate a unique drone show for the Lawton Fort Sill Community. This program is for the citizens of Lawton and utilizes professional contractors to coordinate, schedule, and collaborate with the City of Lawton in the most cost-effective method to provide a high-quality, entertaining experience.

KEY ISSUES: Contract needs to be in-place in order to lock in the availability of the drone company.
