BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for CL24-012 Electrical Services. This service is necessary to effectively and efficiently keep maintenance on the industrial machinery throughout the wastewater treatment plant as well as other machinery in city facilities. Four bids were received and opened on February 14, 2023. After reviewing the bids, it is the department recommendation to award CL24-012 Electrical Services to Patco Electrical Services of Oklahoma City, OK as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The vendor holds the current Electrical Services contract and has since 2021. Patco meets all specifications and price increases were minimal.

FUNDING SOURCE: Wastewater Treatment Plant Repair and Materials Account (7006508-51020). The repair and materials account for the WWTP currently has $45,981.43 available for encumbrance. With the approval of this contract the City of Lawton expects to spend $25,000 of these funds by 6/30/2024.
