BACKGROUND: The Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Children & Adults with Special Needs, organized annually by Darien’s Voice Foundation, aims to foster inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and create memorable experiences for individuals with special needs and their families. To ensure the event's success, the City has been approached to provide financial assistance in the amount of $2,425.00 for vendors, including a face painter, a DJ for musical entertainment, a photo booth, and costume rentals. Additionally, the City has also received a request for in-kind support, including police and fire vehicles, Parks and Recreation support for logistical needs, bounce houses, game kits, and aid in sign making for event communication.
