BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for (CL22-017) Supplemental Nuisance Abatement. One (1) bid was submitted. The bidder did attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. After reviewing the contract bid proposal submitted, it is this department’s recommendation the contract be awarded to Adult Teen Challenge of OK with a bid of $70.00. Due to the amount of work orders that must be processed during the growing season, adding this additional contractor is necessary. Abatement work orders are processed and assigned without regard to location in the city. This means work orders will be evenly and reasonable divided between the available contractors based upon their availability and what is most advantageous to City in accomplishing abatement in a cost effective and timely manner.
