BACKGROUND: The City Attorney’s office wishes to renew the Agreement with Mr. James C. Ferguson of Walker, Ferguson and Ferguson to handle the defense of the City’s Workers’ Compensation claims. Walker, Ferguson and Ferguson has been handling the City’s Workers’ Compensation claims since July 1, 1994. The current agreement expires June 30, 2021. Mr. Ferguson’s billing rate will be One Hundred Twenty-Five and No/100 dollars ($125.00) per hour. The City Attorney’s office has been very satisfied with the work of Mr. Ferguson and highly recommends that his services continue to be retained.
