Consider a resolution amending Article A-19-1, Chapter A-19, Appendix A, Schedule of Fees and Charges, Lawton City Code, 2005, as amended, by increasing campground related fees at Lake Ellsworth and Lake Lawtonka Recreation Parks.

BACKGROUND: City of Lawton Parks and Recreation Department and the Lakes and Land Commission has determined that there has been a continuous increase in lake activity and use of lake facilities that has resulted in increased operational costs and, despite such increases, there has been no corresponding increase in fees charged for campground usage since 2015. The Parks and Recreation Department and the Lakes and Land Commission has determined that an increase in campground related fees at Lake Ellsworth and Lake Lawtonka Recreation Parks is necessary to help offset increased operational costs; and provide re-investment funds to improve the facility.
