BACKGROUND: Geico Casualty issued a check to the City of Lawton in the amount of $50,000.00 for police unit 66125, which was a total loss due to an accident caused by their insured. The funds were placed in the General Fund on September 19, 2024.  The police department is requesting the funds be transferred to the Police Department Machinery and Equipment Fund account for the purchase of a replacement police unit.
