BACKGROUND: Lawton Marketplace Phase IV being a replat of Lot 2, Block 1, Lawton Marketplace Phase II and a part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 2 North, Range 12 West is a commercial development located off NW 82nd Street and consists of 2 commercial lots containing roughly 3.46 acres. The land is zoned C-5 (General Commercial District). The property owner is Sooner Lockwood, LLC and they are looking to at selling the south lot to allow for the construction of a Hutch’s Oil and Convenience Store. Cowan Group Engineering is the engineer on the record plat.

On May 23, 2023, City Council accepted the sanitary sewer line to serve Lawton Marketplace Phase II and maintenance bond in the amount of $16,171.50. The Maintenance Bond is on file in the City Clerk’s office. The consulting engineer was Bryan Richards with BWR Design Group, LLC.

This item was taken to a special City Planning Commission meeting on July 2, 2024 and their recommendation was to approve.
