BACKGROUND: This matter involves the workers’ compensation claim of Warren West, a Firefighter, who alleges injury to his right shoulder, the last date of exposure was 12/18/2023. Settlement has been reached subject to City Council approval with the claimant agreeing to accept the City’s offer of $20,500.00, including $4,100.00 for attorney’s fees, and a $615.00 Multiple Injury Trust Fund Assessment payment to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
