BACKGROUND: The structure(s) located at 511 NW Bell Avenue was declared dilapidated pursuant to Lawton City Code, Division 6-5-1 on February 27, 2024.  Currently Chapter Section 6-1-1-108 allows for six (6) permits to complete the repairs to a dilapidated structure.  If the remodel is not completed within the 180 days code states, the property must come back to Council to determine if another 180 days should be granted.  The property owner is requesting another 180 days.  The last permit expired on December 19, 2024. There have been no inspections of the property.

 

Staff feels that they have not made substantial progress on the structure.
