INITIATOR:  Mayor Stan Booker

STAFF INFORMATION SOURCE:  Donalynn Blazek-Scherler, City Clerk

BACKGROUND: The Capital Improvement Program Advisory Committee has recently faced challenges in achieving and maintaining a quorum for their meetings. In February 2024, a similar ordinance was passed for the Youth and Family Affairs Committee, which introduced participating alternate members. This addition has successfully helped YFAC establish a quorum on multiple occasions. The proposed ordinance aims to add Participating Alternate members to the Capital Improvement Program Advisory Committee to ensure they can conduct business efficiently.
