BACKGROUND: On August 10, 2021, the City Council approved entering into a professional services agreement with Halff Associates to conduct a Lakes Master Plan that would evaluate both Lake Lawtonka and Lake Ellsworth. Since that time, Halff has made on-site visits to the lakes and gathered a substantial amount of data related to the lakes and their operation. Halff Associates is here today to provide a detailed update on the status of the Lakes Master Plan and provide a schedule to finalize the project.
