BACKGROUND: Home Depot would like to donate smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in the total retail amount of approximately $4,972.00. The Lawton Fire Department has been approved for and accepted similar donations in the past. In accordance with the True North Culture Statement and as it relates to a safe community in which we will be relentless in our efforts to provide a safe environment for citizens to thrive, the acceptance of this donation will allow the department to continue to provide fire prevention materials to the citizens of Lawton.
