BACKGROUND: While reviewing code, staff determined that the existing language in this Section was not clear. With the revision of the Section, it will require all buildings and structures meant for human habitation to be connected to the water treated by the City and have an active water account when located within 200 feet of the public water main. The revision was done to make it easier for the citizens to understand and to be transparent in accordance the True North Culture Statement that the City of Lawton will be transparent for all citizens.
