ITEM TITLE:

 

Consider approving amendments to the two Agreements for Judicial Services for the Alternate Municipal Judges to reflect a pay increase.

STAFF INFORMATION SOURCE:  Interim City Manager, John Ratliff and Legal Staff Member, JLyn Jorgenson

 

BACKGROUND: One of these two agreements for judicial services has not been updated to reflect a pay increase since 2010. The other agreement for judicial services has not been updated to reflect a pay increase since 2015. Currently the Alternate Municipal Judges are paid at an hourly rate of $45.00. The Municipal Judge recommends an increase to an hourly rate of $56.73.
