BACKGROUND: Currently, City Hall operates with just one beverage vending machine, which has proven to be insufficient for the growing needs of our community. With two additional departments set to move into City Hall, the demand for convenient and accessible refreshments is expected to rise significantly. Moreover, City Council meetings are now scheduled for 6 PM, extending the hours of operation for many employees and residents who attend these sessions. This change underscores the necessity for a more robust vending solution to cater to individuals who may be at City Hall during late hours or in between meetings. To address these needs, we propose the introduction of a comprehensive vending service that includes a wider range of options, such as both hot and cold food items, a variety of beverages, and the installation of a microwave for public use. This will not only enhance the experience of employees and citizens visiting City Hall but also promote a more welcoming and accommodating environment for all. The vending machine services will be accessible to all employees and citizens, making it easier for them to grab a quick snack or meal during busy workdays or while attending meetings. By offering diverse options, we aim to cater to various dietary preferences and restrictions, ensuring everyone has something available to suit their needs.
