ITEM TITLE:

 

Consider receiving a presentation from Halff Associates on the proposed final draft of the Lake Lawtonka and Ellsworth Recreation Areas Master Plan, allowing for public input and discussion, and approving the plan including any floor amendments.

BACKGROUND: On August 10, 2021, City Council approved a professional services agreement with Halff Associates for the development of a Lakes Master Plan.  Since that time, Halff has conducted site visits and done extensive research on our lakes.  There has also been three public input meetings and three steering committee meetings along with discussion at several Lakes and Lands Commission meetings to receive input from the public on the development of this plan.  The Lakes and Lands Commission approved the Lake Lawtonka and Ellsworth Recreation Area Master Plan on April 19, 2023.
