BACKGROUND: The structure(s) located at 1515 SW H Avenue was declared dilapidated pursuant to Lawton City Code, Division 6-5-1 on January 22, 2022. Currently Chapter Section 6-1-1-108 allows for six (6) permits to complete the repairs to a dilapidated structure. If the remodel is not completed within the 180 days code states, the property must come back to Council to determine if another 180 days should be granted. The property owner is requesting another 180 days. The last permit expired on July 6, 2024. The last inspection was requested on May 7, 2024 and was for a Framing. This inspection cleared.
Staff feels that they have made substantial progress on the structure.
