BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for contract (RFPCL25-006) Employee Drug & Alcohol Screening for Normal Business & After-Hours. Bid invitations were sent out September 24, 2024 and the bid opening was held on October 9, 2024. Three responsive bids were received, and it is the departments’ recommendation to award the contract to Allied Laboratories and Statcare Urgent and Walk in Medical Care. The new contract period will be December 1, 2024 - November 30, 2025, with the option of 2 yearly extensions upon council approval annually.
