BACKGROUND: Fisher 59 is constructing a new facility in the Airport Industrial Park and has an agreement with the Lawton Economic Development Authority (LEDA) for funding assistance to construct the required infrastructure improvements needed for the project.  Two drainage inlets will be located on the north side of the street extension of SW Gilbert Gibson Road and will be located on property owned by the Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO).  A temporary construction easements have already been obtained to allow the contractor to begin work.  On December 3, 2024, the Council approved the submittal of the easement application and agreed to pay the apprised price for easements.  LEDA paid $500 for the temporary construction easements and there are not any additional fees associated with this permanent easement.
