BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for contract (CL23-021) Sulfuric Acid is used to treat drinking water at the water treatment plants. Bid packets were mailed to nine (9) prospective vendors. Four (4) bid was received. After reviewing the bids for (CL23-021) Sulfuric Acid, it is the Department’s recommendation that the contract be awarded to Univar Solutions of Dover, Florida. Univar Solutions is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and meets all specifications.
