BACKGROUND: On June 27, 2023, City Council approved the Master Service Agreement with Garver, LLC. Amendment No. 6 to this agreement was approved by Council on May 28, 2024. Amendment No. 6 includes professional services associated with wastewater line improvements utilizing cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP), under the Lawton Water and Sewer Rehabilitation Program. The Lawton 2024 CIPP Project includes design, bidding, and construction phase services for the installation of approximately 13,200 linear feet (LF) of CIPP liner on existing sewer mains of 10 to 18 inches.
The plans and specifications are now complete for the 2024 CIPP Linear Project PU2419 and ready to begin advertising for construction. The estimated cost of construction is $7,000,000.
The project will benefit the citizen by providing a safe community in accordance with the True North Statement.
EXHIBIT: The plans and specifications are on file in the City Clerk’s office and the Public Utilities office located at 2100 SW 6th Street and are available for review on day of approval.
