BACKGROUND: The Great Plains AMBUCS civic organization has generously pledged a donation of $40,000.00 to the City of Lawton Parks and Recreation Department to support the KIDZONE remodel at Greer Park. These funds will be used to enhance the park’s safety, cleanliness, and overall accessibility, reinforcing the commitment to “Kids First” and ensuring a revitalized space for the community’s children to thrive. This donation will provide funding directly for improvements to KIDZONE at Greer Park, reducing some of the financial burden on the city and enhancing park amenities without additional expenditure.
