BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton issued RFPCL25-018 for Fire Service Cost Recovery Billing and Collection Services, sending bid documents to three vendors and advertising on the City website, Bidnet Direct, and in the local newspaper. Only one responsive bid was received, submitted by Fire Recovery USA.
The Department recommends awarding RFPCL25-018 to Fire Recovery USA based on their high-quality proposal and proven service during the previous three-year contract. This agreement requires no funding from the City, as all program costs are covered through the collection of claims. The fee for these services remains unchanged at 22%, consistent with the previous contract.
