BACKGROUND: The public accounting firm of FORVIS-MAZARS, LLP, as engaged by the City, has completed the fiscal year 2022-2023 audit of the City of Lawton’s financial statements. A representative from FORVIS-MAZARS, LLP presented the audit to City Council on November 12, 2024. At this time, City Council will consider accepting the FYE 2023 audit.
EXHIBIT: The financial statements and audit report for fiscal year ended June 30, 2023, will be on file in the City Clerk’s Office and distributed to the Mayor/Councilmembers immediately upon receipt.
