BACKGROUND: The current lease agreement with concessionaire Steve and Sandra Perry for the operation and management of Ralph’s Resort will expire December 31st, 2024. Per the direction of council during the May 2nd, 2024 Council Meeting, staff initiated the process for requesting proposals for the management and operation of the Ralph’s Resort recreation area. A total of four proposals were received. After reviewing said proposals and meeting with each entity, the proposal submitted by Ralph’s Family Resort, LLC was selected as the best overall proposal. A report was provided to council by staff during the November 12th, 2024 Council Meeting and a subsequent meeting was held with the owner of Ralph’s Family Resort, LLC wherein terms of a lease were discussed and tentatively agreed to pending council approval.
