STAFF INFORMATION SOURCE:  Michael Watrous, Director of Public Works

BACKGROUND: A citizen driven traffic calming request had a traffic study performed which met the criteria outlined in council policy 10-05. The 3rd step in the process involves City Staff providing recommendations on pre-calming measures. Additional stop signs were devised as a potential solution before more permanent and destructive calming measures were implemented.  There are a few options available, and measures would potentially be escalated to calm traffic in the area as “pre-calming” measures as outlined in council policy 10-05.
