BACKGROUND: The C. Carter Crane Homeless Shelter located at 1203 SW Texas Avenue is currently operated under Embrace Hope, led by Brenda Spencer-Ragland. Embrace Hope took over the shelter in July 2024, remodeled the shelter, and now houses up to 28 people. This presentation will discuss the current status of the shelter, bed availability, and criteria for services.
