BACKGROUND: For the safety, efficiency, and minimal distraction during City Council meetings, this amendment identifies appropriate areas within the Wayne Gilley Auditorium for citizens and members of the media to set up cameras, cell phones, and associated recording equipment. This amendment designates the outside rows and the back of the Auditorium as recording areas and prohibits such activity in the immediate proximity of the dais, the inside aisles, the stairs, and balcony.
