BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for contract (CL25-010) Sodium Hypochlorite. Bid invitations were sent out September 17, 2024 and the bid opening was held on October 2, 2024. Two responsive bids were received, and it is the departments recommendation to award the contract to Brenntag Southwest Inc. Brenntag Southwest Inc. had the previous contract for the last 3 years and they have met/exceeded all contract requirements. The new contract period will be December 1, 2024 - November 30, 2025, with the option of 2 yearly extensions upon council approval annually.
