BACKGROUND: On September 8, 2020, and September 14, 2021, Council approved Amendment No 7 and Amendment No 9, respectively, to the December 9, 2014, contract with Garver, LLC for a water reuse feasibility study. The Amendments provided for an engineering assessment, proposed enhancements, and final design for improvements to the existing water Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system which includes the Water Distribution system, Medicine Park Water Treatment Plant, and Southeast Water Treatment Plant. The SCADA system is used to control and monitor the operation of plants, pump stations and elevated storage facilities.
