BACKGROUND: As mentioned during the briefing of the September 24, 2024, City Council meeting, this waiver will prevent the above listed property from being on the June 2025 tax sale. This lien is for a total amount of $1,908.80 which includes penalties and interest due to the County. The total amount due to the City for this lien is $1,291.86. By waiving this mowing and clearing lien, this will prevent the property from being on the June 2025 tax sale and allow the City time to proceed with recovering the cost of the demolition of the dilapidated structure that was previously on the property.
