BACKGROUND: This agenda item seeks approval for a resolution supporting the appointment of Mayor Stan Booker to the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Municipal League (OML). Mayor Booker's appointment to the board would provide the City of Lawton with a stronger voice in discussions that impact municipal governance, local policy-making, and resource allocation at the state level.
