BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for CL25-002 Precast Concrete Manholes (Large) on Bidnetdirect. One responsive bid was received and opened on August 7, 2024. After reviewing the bid, it is the department’s recommendation to award CL25-002 Precast Manholes (Large) to the responsive and responsible lowest bidder, Primary Structure of Guthrie, OK. This vendor meets all specifications and price increases were within the expected range.
The Precast Concrete Manholes (Large) are essential for the ability to replace and repair sewer lines, which promotes efficiency and safety for the citizens of Lawton in meeting the “True North Culture Statement”.
