BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton applied for a $125,000 Opioid Abatement Grant. The grant has been conditionally awarded. It is contingent upon a revised plan and budget, along with signing and submitting related documents. The grant includes a partnership with the Comanche County Health Department for prevention programming. Certain requests were denied related to law enforcement initiatives so a revised plan and budget in an amount of $83,900 have been prepared for submission, along with the CCHD Agreement and the attached documents.
