BACKGROUND: On February 13, 2024, the City Council directed staff to create a sign program aimed at discouraging panhandling and encouraging donations to established charitable organizations. Staff were to present this program to the Council. The Council now seeks an update on the program's status and will provide further guidance to staff if necessary.
