BACKGROUND: On June 11, 2024, City staff brought forth an item to discuss the request for revocation for the CRAN 019D Small Cell Wireless Facility (SCWF) that is located adjacent to 6432 NW Arrowhead Drive. The item was discussed, and several questions were asked. The item was tabled to allow staff to get some additional information from our peer cities and to discuss other locations for this facility to possibly be placed.
The previous item went over the peer cities and how they process the small cell wireless facilities.
Staff has spoken with US Cellular about possible other locations for this facility and they maintain that this location is the best spot for the coverage that they are providing with the Small Cell Wireless Facility.
