BACKGROUND: The intent of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to carry out the comprehensive, continuing, and cooperative transportation planning process for the Lawton Metropolitan Area. Through this document the membership and responsibility of the Transportation Technical Committee and LMPO Transportation Policy Board are identified. The MOU was last updated in July 2023 to reflect the change in the bylaws of Transportation Policy Board. This new update includes the City of Lawton Transit Trust as a party to the agreement as this is now a requirement.
The LMPO Policy Board approved this MOU on April 2, 2024, it has been signed by ODOT and the LMPO.
