BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton has utilized the services of Dunlap Codding, P.C. to protect images and prevent unauthorized use, by trademarking City logos. The proposed agreement would allow Dunlap Codding, P.C. to continue providing trademark assistance. The firm specializes in patent, trademark and copyright work. Hourly attorney rates vary from $150.00 per hour to $450.00 per hour, with $350.00 per hour being the hourly rate for the primary attorney assisting the City. Hourly non-attorney rates vary from $115.00 per hour to $150.00 per hour.
