BACKGROUND: During a recent review of the adopted and amended International Building Code (IBC), staff noticed an error in the section number for the “conformance” paragraph. Section 107.4 of the IBC originally referred to amended construction documents. This code section is still greatly needed. Staff has changed the code section from 107.4 to 107.4.1 and created it to be a part of Lawton City Code in addition to the other sections from the IBC.
