BACKGROUND: This resolution reflects allocations to support Juneteenth events through two entities, in a total amount of $32,000.00. City Council previously approved $25,000.000 to support Juneteenth events sponsored by the Lawton-Fort Sill City Wide Juneteenth, Inc. This resolution includes $7,000.00 to support Juneteenth events sponsored by LaSill City Wide Juneteenth Committee, Incorporated. With these allocations, the updated unallocated hotel/motel fund balance is $274,532.00.
