BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton solicited bids for CL24-019 City of Lawton Boarding & Securing. This contract requires contractors to board and secure structures on private properties deemed to be a public nuisance. Two (2) bids were received and opened on May 1, 2024. One (1) Responsive Bid and One (1) Non-Responsive Bid. After reviewing the bids, it is the department recommendation to award CL24-019 Boarding & Securing to Sonrise Adult & Teen Challenge of Cache, OK as the lowest responsive bidder.
