BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton provides various benefits to our employees. While discussing services with our Broker, Insurica, they were instructed to review companies that provided Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA and COBRA products. After their inquiries and consideration of plans evaluated, Insurica’s recommendation, based on the best value for our employees, we recommend that the city enter into a contract with NueSynergy for the aforementioned products.

STAFF RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: Approve the contract with NueSynergy to provide Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and COBRA to City of Lawton employees, effective July 1, 2024, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement.
