BACKGROUND: The City of Lawton provides LegalShield protection to city of Lawton employees and their families. The current contract signed in 2023 may be renewed. There will not be any changes to the original contract and there are no increase, or decreases, in premiums. LegalShield is an employee paid benefit, the City does not pay for this service. The original agreement from 2023 is listed as an exhibit, as well as the renewal agreement with LegalShield.
