BACKGROUND: The Lawton Water Authority, Steve and Sandra Perry, and the City of Lawton are currently engaged in an agreement for the operation and management of Ralph’s Resort concessionaire recreational area. That agreement is set to expire as of December 31, 2024. The Lessees have notified the city that they are no longer interested in extending the lease agreement after approximately 45 years of service. Staff is recommending that the Water Authority direct staff to initiate the process of finding a new concessionaire.
