BACKGROUND: Trane HVAC Services, a reputable local company with national recognition, has approached the City with proposal to provide HVAC services and energy efficiency services to the City of Lawton. Thus far, discussions have centered around the possibility of conducting a test case at the library main branch. This initiative would involve the installation of new HVAC systems, energy-efficient LED bulbs, energy-efficient windows, and other solutions to assist with energy efficiencies, all aimed at improving the library’s operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. Trane HVAC Services is well-known for its expertise in HVAC solutions, with a secondary focus on energy efficiency initiatives. Trane is also listed on a state contract, which streamlines the procurement process and eliminates the need for competitive bidding. This presents an opportunity for the city to expedite the implementation of energy-efficient upgrades and much needed HVAC services. Trane HVAC Services will provide a presentation on services available. Note: Depending upon the scope of work and the cost, this may require competitive bidding.
